FPM Heat Treating and Metal Finishing is the Midwest’s largest provider of heat treating, and plating services with facilities in Illinois, Wisconsin and Ohio, and a daily reach extending into Michigan, Indiana and Minnesota.
FPM offers a vast portfolio of services with heat treatments that range from tools and dies, to high volume conventional production, and surface treatments that range from oxynitrocarburizing to zinc plating, with many offerings in between. FPM’s high pressure quenching capabilities for hot working die steels were implemented during the development of the NADCA specification and continue to be improved today.
FPM’s surface treatment (MicroWear) of hot working materials has provided increased die life and productivity to many die casting and forging customers.
